We are excited to announce the opening reception of The boundary beyond figures a collaboration with Arushi Gallery
Which will show this Saturday October 22nd from 7-10pm @arushigallery in Los Angeles.

“The Boundary Beyond Figures,” a walk through of many faces of figurative art by artists from Ghana, Nigeria and Kenya .

The group exhibition will run through December 1 2022.

In recent years, 🇬🇭 Ghana has left its mark on the artworld with successful artists such as El Anatsui, Ibrahim Mahama, Amoako Boafo and Serge Clottey. The exhibit, curated by Arushi Kapoor, a champion of international exhibitions, and William Prempeh, an advocate of Ghanian art, gives a platform for the viewers to identify the distinct techniques within the umbrella of African artists.

The collection of works by artists Billy Baffoe Bonnie, Brandon B-Doku, Nedia were , Maxwell Boadi, Komla Letsu Phillips, Nii Teiko, Eric Odartey, Israel Padonu, Daniel Nortey, Torto Lawrence, Sowatey and Yaw Mensah, explore subjects like identity, sexuality, female rights, limitation of culture, black joy and self-confidence in a cosmopolitan world with the intention to promote conversation beyond the boundary of the present figures.
