Merci Ewuresi Ghanaian - Austrian

Merci Ewuresi is a multidisciplinary visual artist and researcher of Austrian and Ghanaian descent. She employs painting, collaging, videography, and photography to explore themes of connectivity, womanhood, and cultural heritage. Inspired by decolonial and Black Anarchist feminist theory, her work seeks to implement these perspectives into artistic expression. Lately Ewuresi has been experimenting with natural paint, sourcing materials like rocks and soil from her surroundings, including local waterfalls, to create her art.
