Professor Ablade Glover, born in Accra in 1934, is a revered Ghanaian artist and educator whose impact spans borders and generations. With a storied academic journey and a distinctive artistic style, he has left an indelible mark on the global art scene.

Academic Pursuits

Professor Glover's educational voyage commenced at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 1957. He furthered his studies in textile design at London's Central School of Art and Design in 1959, courtesy of a scholarship. Returning to Ghana, he dedicated himself to teaching before securing another scholarship from Kwame Nkrumah for art studies at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne from 1964 to 1965.

Continued Pursuits

His quest for knowledge led him to the United States, where he earned his master's degree at Kent State University. Subsequently, he obtained a PhD from Ohio State University in 1974. Professor Glover is renowned for capturing the dynamic energy of crowd movement on canvas, a testament to his mastery of artistic expression.
